As an Audubon Society Cooperative Course surrounded by a national wildlife refuge, the club provides a unique balance between a world class golf course and Mother Nature; yet all the while maintains a casually elegant ambiance that permeates throughout the amenities.

The Sanctuary Golf Course was designed by the nationally acclaimed golf course architect Arthur Hills, who describes the course as "my island masterpiece" and the property as "elegant, exquisite and rare." Bordering the world-renowned J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge, the course weaves and winds around nature preserves and lakes, providing panoramic views of Southwest Florida's Gulf of Mexico. Golfers often encounter the wide variety of birds and wildlife who call The Sanctuary home.

Expect each day to end as beautifully as the day before... Find a spot on the back veranda. Make sure you're there by sunset. What you'll witness is a natural wonder that appears every day like clockwork. Every evening at dusk, with Club Members as the audience, a flock of Ibis flies over the clubhouse at the exact same time, in the exact same formation. They're likely taking flight from their home in the neighboring mangroves. Their daily pass is routine, as predictable as the local tides - but marvelously unique

Membership Offerings

October 1, 2010Equity - $100,000 fee

Our premiere offering, an Equity Membership privileges include access to all Club facilities, a par 72, Championship Arthur Hills-designed golf course, driving range, putting green, chipping area, golf lessons, priority tee times and tournament play; 50,000 square foot clubhouse, world-class dining, five Har Tru tennis courts and fitness center with a pool. Equity members have voting rights and hold an equity position in the Club.

Associate Equity - $50,000 fee

Associate Equity Members under the age of 60 may pay a $50,000 fee upon joining and a $50,000 fee upon turning 60 years old. With the second $50,000 payment, Associate Equity Members become "full" Equity members with voting rights and an equity position in the Club.

  • $1,200 annual capital fee
  • $110 monthly irrigation project fee
  • $1,500 annual food & beverage minimum
  • Social - $10,000 fee

Social Members have access to all Club facilities, 50,000 square foot clubhouse, world-class dining, five Har Tru tennis courts and fitness center with a pool. Access to golf includes: driving range, putting green, and chipping area use year-round, golf lessons year-round, and the ability to golf during the months of May 1st through September 30th on a par 72, Championship Arthur Hills-designed golf course. The Social fee can be applied as a credit toward the Associate or Equity fee should a Social member convert to Equity.

  • $3,600 annual dues
  • $600 annual capital fee
  • $1,500 annual food & beverage minimum

Introductory Membership - $10,000 fee

Introductory privileges include access to all Club facilities, a par 72, Championship Arthur Hills-designed golf course, driving range, putting green, chipping area, golf lessons, priority tee times and tournament play; 50,000 square foot clubhouse, world-class dining, five Har Tru tennis courts and fitness center with a pool. Introductory Members do not have voting rights or hold an equity position in the Club. The Introductory Membership duration is one year (not renewable) with the intention of becoming an Equity or Associate Member. Full price will be credited toward Equity or Associate Membership within the first four months of the Introductory membership. Thereafter, 50% of the $10,000 fee will be credited toward an Equity or Associate Membership. At the end of the year 50% of the $10,000 fee will be credited to an Associate or Equity Membership or 25% toward a Social Membership. (All other fees and charges will begin after the one year of Introductory Membership – even if conversion to Equity or Associate within four months.)

Temporary Membership

Temporary privileges include access to all Club facilities, a par 72, Championship Arthur Hills-designed golf course, driving range, putting green, chipping area, golf lessons, and tee times; 50,000 square foot clubhouse, world-class dining, five Har Tru tennis courts and fitness center with a pool. Temporary Members do not have voting rights or hold an equity position in the Club. The Temporary Membership duration is one month or two months (not renewable) with the intention of becoming an Equity or Associate Member. Temporary Members do not have annual dues or fees.

  • $5,000 1 month
  • $7,500 2 months
